Privacy policy
This site collects very little: only what you choose to send us through the contact form. Here's exactly what happens to it.
Who we are
Durango Home and Rental LLC ("Durango Home & Rental," "we") is a vacation rental and home management company in Durango, Colorado. This policy covers durangohomeandrental.com. Questions go to austin@durangohomeandrental.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name and email, plus anything else you choose to add, such as a phone number, your property's address or area, the number of bedrooms, what you're looking for, and your notes.
We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or tracking cookies, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
How we use it
To reply to you, to prepare for our first conversation, and to put together a plan or an income estimate if you ask for one. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Who handles it for us
A few companies help run this site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Formspree receives form submissions, screens them for spam, emails them to us, and keeps a copy for a limited time. Formspree's privacy policy
- Google Workspace hosts our email, where your message is delivered. Google's privacy policy
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, and it may set a security cookie if it needs to check for automated traffic. Cloudflare's privacy policy
- Google Fonts provides the site's typefaces. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address. Google's privacy policy
We'll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If we work together, we keep your details for as long as we look after your home, and afterward for as long as tax and business records require. If we don't end up working together, we delete your inquiry within two years, or sooner if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email austin@durangohomeandrental.com and we'll confirm when it's done.
Children
This site is for homeowners and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
